Atlanta, Illinois’ Tourism Director Scott McCoy hosted the Land of Lincoln’s CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) class in late January.
The class is learning about the tourism industry and how it impacts businesses and the economy of a community.
“These students had some really great questions,” said McCoy. “I was impressed by the depth of their questions and how inquisitive they were in the relationship between a municipality and their businesses.”
Atlanta’s Tourism has made itself available to area schools, at all levels, to provide an educational experience on tourism, marketing, and economic growth.
